What is mindful eating?

The principles of Eating mindfully is a practice of paying attention to the food we eat and to eat without judgement.

It is tuning into your body’s cues such as hunger, and satiety. Listening to external cues when to eat, having more self-compassion reducing guilt and shame around eating food and opening up our senses

I’m Joanna, I have a bachelor of science in biology and I am a qualified nutritional therapist. I am trained in level 1 mindful eating conscious living with Jan Chozen Bays & Char Wilkins and mindful-based eating awareness techniques (MB-EAT) with Andrea Lieberstein. I am a certified health coach and a well-nourished coach in training.

I believe in evidence-based nutrition and lifestyle recommendations that are tailored to individual needs.

I saw within my close family circles, close friends and MYSELF fall victim to diet culture, food obsession, and body shame that led to ill health throughout my life.

After qualifying as a nutritionist, something triggered in me, I did not want to prescribe diets and restrict foods! I wanted people to connect to their inner wisdom and develop body intuition to be empowered to trust themselves!

How can i get started

You can book a free 15-minute strategy call to ask questions to have an orientation call and see if this class is a fit! Click anywhere on the website ‘book a free consultation’ or book one of the packages on the website. Once payment is received, your first appointment will be scheduled and your journey begins!

Do you offer payment plans?

I do offer flexible payment plans that can be paid monthly or a sensible arrangement that is agreed between both parties. In addition, I will accommodate unwaged, students and allocate sponsorships for individuals with financial challenges. Please reach out to me.
